Signup Instructions for Swims and Jobs at Meets
To Officiate at a meet please email Cara at [email protected] a week prior to the meet. Cara will be sending emails to request officials and a date the names are needing to be in by. When requesting shifts please make sure you include if you are needing to be mentored and if there is a time you are unable to be there. Shifts are assigned by the host club and will be your responsibility to fill if you are unable to do so.
Swim Meet Sign Up for Swimmers
Coaches will hang a sheet of events with each swimmers name on it. This will be located in the lobby next to the bleachers on our bulletin board. When looking at the names they are listed by gender and age. When you find your swimmers name there will be a column, with each race they are qualified to compete in, beside their names. For the first races it is encouraged to talk with the coach or mark CP (coaches pick) next to the swimmers name. This allows the coaches to enter the swimmer into races they are ready for. If you would like to check the column which corresponds to the swim event the swimmer will be entered in that race. Swimmers are able to swim a Max. of 4 events plus 2 team relays. If your swimmer is attending a meet expect them to be entered in a relay or two. Remember by missing the relays you are potentially disappointing the other 3 swimmers who are in the relay with your swimmer. The relays are exciting for swimmers and spectators alike!
