Suggestions for Swimmers and Parents

A suggestion of things to bring to a swim meet:

A Competition Suit- Either plainĀ  black or an Otters team suit

2 Swim Caps (Otters team caps are available for $12)

2 pairs of goggles

An extra suit (just in case)

Towels- 2 or 3 can be helpful when they get wet

Lawn chairs- parents and swimmers alike will need a play to sit between races

Sleeping bag/swim mat/yoga mat- a place for the swimmers to relax between races

Cards/coloring books and crayons etc.-things to keep swimmers entertained between races

Highlighter pen(s) to use with heat sheets

Food and Snacks- keeping swimmers hydrated and energized is a big part of the day

**a note on electronics** swimmers are welcome to bring their electronics on swim meet days but remember the pool decks are wet and unattended belongings are the responsibility of the swimmer/family. Changing areas camera free!
